They even rifled the man's pockets as he lay unconscious.
Ali Qamar, 18, a 17-year-old boy and other youths pounced on Marian Tamas outside Glasgow Central station.
The pair pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting Mr Tamas to his injury and danger of life on August 12, 2021.He also slapped a tag on them keeping the 17-year-old indoors for six months and Qamar for three months between 8pm to 6pm on Mondays to Saturdays.The court heard Mr Tamas and Marius Constantin were outside the Hope Street entrance to the station around 2.30am.
"The 17-year-old approached the victim and punched him to the face then repeatedly kicked him on the head."He then ran and jumped on his head violently, repeatedly kicking him."Miss Sweeney added: "Officers had attended Hope Street where Mr Tamas was being treated having been unconscious for 15 minutes."The court heard of other incidents involving the pair between June and September 2021.
The 17-year-old again fought with shop employees after he was refused service due to the previous incidents.He then pointed the blade to the worker's neck however the teen was eventually overpowered and the knife thrown away.
