Ian Cannon, Finlay Johns and Tyler Johnstone, all 16, tragically died at the scene on Wednesday, March 16.
A teenager has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash in Dumfries which resulted in the deaths of three 16-year-old boys.
They were later named as Ian Cannon, Finlay Johns and Tyler Johnstone, all aged 16. A further three men were taken to hospital for life-threatening injuries before later being released. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal crash on the A711 Dumfries to Kirkcudbright road, which took place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. The crash resulted in the deaths of three 16-year-old boys and caused serious injuries to three further men.
