The teenager was rushed to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment after being struck by the car on North Road in Cumbernauld earlier today (August 29).
The incident happened at around 9am today when the 15-year-old boy was struck by the vehicle on North Road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after and the teenager was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment. The full extent of his injuries is not currently known. A spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Thursday, 29 August, 2024, we were called to a report of a male pedestrian having been struck by a car on North Road, Cumbernauld. “Emergency services attended and a 15-year-old boy was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment.
