.tedcruz has introduced legislation to impose term limits on members of Congress with the hope of removing “entrenched politicians who prey upon the brokenness of Washington.”
Joined by Rep. Ralph Norman in the House, Cruz’s proposed constitutional amendment seeks to limit senators to two six-year terms and House members to three two-year terms.“Term limits are critical to fixing what’s wrong with Washington, D.C.,” Cruz said in a statement.
Cruz has previously introduced legislation to impose term limits in each of the three prior Congresses.
