CONTRIBUTEDSHELBURNE, N.S. — Team Flemming posted a 6-0 record to go undefeated to win the Nova Scotia Mixed Curling Championship hosted by the Shelburne Curling Centre March 23-26.
Ten teams competed for the provincial championship and the right to advance to the Canadian Nationals in Swift Current, Saskatchewan in November. “It was a very close game,” said King. “The curling was excellent the whole spiel. It was very elite curlers. In the final it came down to the last shot. Paul Flemming had a take out and that sealed it for Team Flemming. Team MacDougall had a good run. They played eight games in total. They took the long road to the finals.”
