It was a traumatic end to the week for pupils at Kagiso Senior Secondary School after a teacher killed a knife-wielding man at school
Pupils at Kagiso Senior Secondary School in the West Rand have been asked to leave class early on Friday after a teacher allegedly shot and killed a knife-wielding man allegedly about to stab the principal.
It is understood the man was not a pupil at the school and may have been accompanied by several other boys, who ran from the scene when the gun was fired. Kagiso township is riddled with unemployed youth. Many are known to fall into the clutches of crime and drug abuse.
