The pop star shared her message on National Voter Registration Day.
09/19/2023
“I’ve been so lucky to see so many of you guys at my US shows recently,” she said in her all-text message, which was written in white on a blue ombre background. “I’ve heard you raise your voices, and I know how powerful they are. Make sure you’re ready to use them in our elections this year!”,” the 12-time Grammy winner — who has more than 272 million Instagram followers, concluded her message.
This is far from the first time the “Cruel Summer” singer has reminded her fans of the importance of performing their civic duties. She has partnered with Vote.org — a non-partisan, non-profit organization voting registration platform — to encourage people to cast their ballots.
“It takes less than 30 seconds on Vote.org to check if you’re registered. Our country works best when we all show up. Let’s get ready, get set and get registered to vote,” she concluded. “Our future starts now.”
