Assuming you didn’t “eternal sunshine” 2016 from your mind post-Trump’s election, you might recall one Taylor Alison Swift hosting that year’s Met Gala in a metallic Louis Vuitton look. The evening marked a point of departure for Swift from a style perspective: her golden curls were bleached platinum, her typically scarlet lips darkened to carmine, and her futuristic minidress constituted a sartorial 180 from the fairytale J Mendel gowns she’d previously worn up the museum steps.
Last night, Swift and Travis Kelce , celebrated the Chief’s win by going for pizza at Lucali’s in Brooklyn . Avert your eyes, for a moment, from Kelce’s burgeoning moustache in the paparazzi shots, and you’ll notice that Swift’s all-black ensemble – which I’m sure is being parsed for Reputation-related Easter eggs as I type – is paired with Louis Vuitton’s knee-high Donna boots and the maison’s Coussin PM bag.
