Taylor Swift's Sydney presale has sold out after the singer shattered a national record when more than 800,000 fans queued up online to buy tickets.

The All Too Well hitmaker will perform at Melbourne Cricket Ground from February 16 to 17 and is estimated to have more than 200,000 fans go through the gates across two shows.

State governments have cracked down on scalpers reselling tickets at inflated prices amid the release of Eras Tour tickets. Maximum penalties for breaching ticket reselling laws in the state are $110,000 for a corporation or $22,000 for an individual.
