The song talks about social media and pitting women against each other, something she’s had her fair share of experience with, but in the second verse, she sings about fighting back against homophobia. “Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD?” Taylor sings. “Sunshine on the street at the parade, but you would rather be in the dark ages. Makin’ that sign must’ve taken all night.
