Taylor Swift wearing EB Denim'sWith her brand and business proudly based in Los Angeles, Boncivini is no stranger to stars wearing her pieces. EB Denim started as a thrifting business when Boncivini was still in high school in Newport Beach. She would take Levi’s she bought while visiting her grandparents in the Midwest and cut them into shorts. Eventually, she began selling them locally with her initials logo and sending them to people like Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner.
Getting celebs in upcycled denim wasn’t the only reason she decided to place her headquarters and manufacturing in LA – it’s part of the brand ethos too. ”I was based in L.A., so this is where I was able to fully commit my time to not only watch these designs be brought to life but also continue to learn,” she says. “It is also extremely important to me to know who is making the clothing, and be able to make sure that they are being taken care of.
