Tau: I’m ready to play for Ahly until retirement

Tau’s future at the Red Devils has been the subject of speculation both in the North African country and back home in South African in recent weeks, with the relationship between the player and coach Marcel Koller believed to be strained.With his contract set to expire next year, Tau is said to have attracted interest from the Gulf region, while Kaizer Chiefs have also not been ruled out among the clubs chasing the left-footed star’s signature as they look to get back to their former glory.
"I do not think at all about leaving Al Ahly and all the news spread about my departure is just news. I am ready to play for Al Ahly, even with half my salary, especially since this club has become my first family. So, thinking about leaving, it is impossible," said Tau, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new Al Ahly Stadium this week, per Egyptian publication wtkora.com.
