Mitch Albom's masterpiece hits the stage once more, proving his former professor's words, 'Once you die, you know how to live.'

This show examines all of it," an actress in the show said.YORK, Pa. — With song, music, fashion and more from 1969 taking the stage in the latest production at Dreamwrights Center for Community Arts in York, the story of"Moon landing, Woodstock, Civil Rights movement, women's lib were all happening. This show examines all of it," said Jessica Haag, an actress in the show.
The show features a diverse cast age-wise, with multiple sets of mothers and daughters in the show, getting views of parents, even their grandparents may remember. "I think it's cool how different the times are, but also how they're similar," child actor Ocean Aquino said."It's interesting seeing her as other people's moms and seeing them cringing when they see her doing something embarrassing. It's like, 'Oh mom!'" Ocean said."The best time of it has been seeing her blossom and being a part of it," Haag said.
1969 also marked the groundbreaking year of the York Arts Association. To celebrate, there will be an exhibit and gallery in the lobby of the theatre just outside of the show.
