Whilst the closure of municipal offices will not affect essential services such as electricity and water, the city advises residents to utilise these numbers for emergencies or service interruptions:• Municipal services call centre – 0860 543 000.Healthcare facilities that will remain operational: Clinics rendering 24-hour services: Daveyton Main Community Day Centre, Kwa-Thema Community Health Centre, Nokuthela Ngwenya Community Health Centre, Phillip Moyo Community Health Centre, Esangweni Community Health Centre, Phola Park Community Health Centre, Jabulane Dumane Community Health Centre, and Ramokonopi Community Health Centre.
Hospitals: Far East Rand Hospital, Pholosong Hospital, Tembisa Hospital, Bertha Gxowa Hospital, Tambo Memorial Hospital, and Thelle Mogoerane Regional Hospital. The city also reminds residents to pay their municipal accounts on time and utilise the online rates payment platform, Siyakhokha on www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za
