Taiwan is one of Asia’s major exporters, especially of technology goods, and its export trend is a key gauge of global demand for technology gadgets worldwide. The trade-reliant island’s inflation rate in January is estimated to stand at 1.25%, the highest since September 2018, according to the median forecast of 14 analysts surveyed by Reuters.
