The votes are in, and in a close victory, the January 2023 TA Playlist game has been announced: Outer Wilds.
BetaSig explained why they nominated the open world mystery game: “At first, Outer Wilds can be overwhelming. You're given a small rocketship and told to just go out and explore. There are no quest objectives, no to-do lists... it's up to you to let your curiosity guide you as you venture out into this wonderfully detailed, beautifully crafted solar system.
Since its release on Game Pass, over 38,000 tracked TA users have started Outer Wilds, with a sliver over 500 unlocking all 31 of the game’s achievements, a feat that is estimated to take 30-25 hours, including all DLC. The game is well-rated, with a TA community score of 4.20/5.00.
