Our client is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing their Linux and Microsoft infrastructure technology in the cloud and on-premise. You will work on engineering solutions for both project-based and operational needs while ensuring best practices in system and service management across all environments.
Upgrades & Maintenance: Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware. Collaboration & Automation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop automation strategies and optimise deployment processes.Linux Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems .Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization technologiesNetworking Protocols: Strong understanding of networking protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP.
Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement solutions to maintain high availability and stability across all environments.
