The Sooners, representing Atlantic Canada at the tournament, were edged 8-7 by the Prairies on Friday, defeated 7-4 by Ontario on Saturday, and blanked 14-0 by British Columbia on Sunday in Calgary.Nationals bound: Sydney Major Sooners hope to surprise at Canadian Little League ChampionshipLiam MacLeod, Parker Spencer, and Andrew MacIntyre each had a single hit for the Sooners in the loss.
Kendall had a double and a single, while Spencer MacIntyre, Jamie Morrison, Avery Johnston, and Breslin Marshall each recorded a single for Sydney.On Friday, the Sooners led 7-6 in the seventh inning before the Prairies scored twice in the bottom half of the inning to walk off with the victory. Morrison led the way for the Sooners with a triple and a double, while MacIntyre had two singles and Marshall added a double.The Sooners will play Quebec today at 10 p.m. Atlantic time.
