The water was flat as the prairies and the air temperature was in the low 20s. It was a perfect day for the United Way’s Pictou Harbour Swim on Sept. 8. There were a few waves from The Third Wave as the swimmers began their short journey to the spot near the pulp mill where they began the harbour swim. - Ray Burns
