With the return of the Netflix show comes a whole host of new characters, as seen in an exclusive Sweet Tooth season 2 clip. Based on Jeff Lemire's Vertigo comics of the same name, the series is set in a post-apocalyptic world crippled by a virus while also simultaneously introduced to animal-hybrid children, who are quickly considered to be the cause of the virus.

The clip, seen above, comes from the season 2 premiere "In Captivity", which looks to pick up sometime after the events of the cliffhanger season 1 finale as Gus is still in Abbot's custody. However, the young protagonist takes some delight to learn he is not alone as he meets other hybrid children being kept prisoner, including Naledi Murray's Pigtail.
What The New Hybrid Kids Tell Us About Sweet Tooth Season 2 Those who have eagerly awaited the Netflix show's return may be familiar with some of the hybrid kids seen in the Sweet Tooth season 2 clip seen above, as multiple were introduced near the end of season 1 as those saved by Dania Ramirez's Aimee and living in The Preserve.
The other possibility is that there could be some conflict between Gus and Naledi Murray's Wendy, better known as Pigtail, in Sweet Tooth season 2. Gus' desire to escape and find his mom could lead to his rebellious actions having serious consequences for the other hybrid kids, thus leading to a feuding of opinions between him and Pigtail as she looks to keep her foster siblings alive until their mom Aimee can rescue them.
