The data obtained by the ICIJ comes from the Eswatini Financial Intelligence Unit , the financial intelligence service of the small kingdom of Eswatini , which is the equivalent of Tracfin in France or FinCEN in the United States.It reveals suspicions of embezzlement hanging over numerous African figures, including high dignitaries from the continent’s last absolute monarchy, as well as former Zambian head of state Edgar Lungu.
