Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Sergio Dos Santos has advised Amakhosi to loan out Christian Saile in order to get Oswin Appollis.The 25-year-old forward has struggled for form since joining the Glamour Boys in 2023. This season, Saile has played six times but has failed to find the back of the net. The Congolese star has been rumoured to move away from Naturena but Dos Santos advised Chiefs not to sell Saile.
Saile has scored just six goals for Kaizer Chiefs in 49 appearances in nearly three seasons. Dos Santos says the Congolese need to be loaned to Chippa to thrive.“The whole Chiefs team every game is different. If he goes to Chippa maybe he will be under less pressure. There’s too much pressure at Chiefs and their players can’t handle the pressure.”
“Personally I would loan him out, I would never sell him. But an excellent deal would be swapping him with Oswin Appollis. A very good player. He was with me at Ajax Cape Town in the juniors. We brought him when he was 14 years old.” Kaizer Chiefs can be a really tough place to succeed. New reports say Ranga Chivaviro is set to move on when his deal expires.
