In a statement a few weeks ago, Pirates revealed that they were in talks to loan Mabasa out to Swallows, after the player spent last season in the colours of Sekhukhune United. But some impressive performances for Bafana Bafana in the Cosafa Cup recently appears to have attracted the interest of other DStv Premiership clubs, while the possibility of staying at Pirates to fight for a place in the team has not been completely ruled out.
