Houston police say the suspect is believed to have driven away in the man's smoky-colored car, possibly with the window shot out.
Police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot and killed outside of a southeast Houston store late Tuesday night.FOLLOW THE LATEST HOUSTON NEWS
According to police, witnesses reported seeing the suspect shoot into a car and then pull a man out of the vehicle. Police believe the suspect then drove away in the man’s vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, but police say he appears to work at the store.
The suspect is described only as a Black male, 5’7" tall and weighing about 170 pounds. There’s no description of his clothing.Police believe he may be driving a smoky-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota. The driver's side window may be shot out. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
