West Shore RCMP have a suspect in custody after an afternoon search saw Emergency Response teams shut down a Langford neighbourhood.
Police respond into an Incident at the 700 block of Walfred Road in Langford this morning. We now have one male suspect in custody police are lifting their containment, and Our investigation is continuing. We are working to provide an update to our previous media release.Shortly after 10:15 a.m., Feb. 25, West Shore RCMP responded to an incident regarding an assault.
According to reports, the suspect fled before their arrival.The Emergency Response Team, along with K9 and RCMP Air 1 worked to locate the suspect.are currently responding to an incident near the 700 block of Walfred Rd in Langford. Police have set up containment in this area, you will see police blocked roads etc, please avoid the area we will provide further updates as police continue to work.
