The 45-year-old was charged with attempted murder, criminal weapon possession and resisting arrest after he ambushed police officers in the Bronx twice in 12 hours wounding two in attacks, authorities said. A police officer injured in a shooting the previous evening is released at Lincoln Hospital, Feb. 9, 2020, in New York.About 12 hours later, Williams showed up at the 41st Precinct stationhouse in the Bronx and allegedly opened fire on eight police officers and a civilian employee in the lobby and in an adjacent side room of the station. Lt. Jose Gautreaux was shot in the right arm, but all the other shots missed, authorities said.
