BELLEVUE, Wash. — A 44-year-old man was arrested April 9 following a crime spree in King and Snohomish counties.
According to Bellevue police, the following charges will be forwarded to the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office: first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, malicious mischief, unlawful possession of a firearm and theft of a motor vehicle.12000 block of NE 26th PlaceAfter crashing, the man, who has not been formally charged, reportedly forced his way into a Bellevue home and demanded a victim's car keys at gunpoint.
The suspect left the home. When he realized the keys were not to a vehicle in the driveway, he allegedly fired a shot through the front door. The suspect went into the garage, got into a vehicle and backed through the garage door, according to police. The suspect fled the area as officers responded to the 911 call.Later in the afternoon, the suspect allegedly carjacked a vehicle in Woodinville. An Arlington police officer later found the vehicle and suspect and a chase ensued. The suspect reportedly crashed and was arrested. He was transferred to Bellevue police custody and booked into jail.
