A suspect has been arrested in a string of armed robberies that targeted people wanting to buy used gaming systems.Ads were posted on usedvictoria.com for gaming systems such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox priced at well below going rates.
Victoria police said during the arrest and subsequent search, officers found several replica firearms that were virtually indistinguishable from real firearms.No one was hurt during the robberies but victims were “deeply shaken,” police said.
