A 33-year-old man is due to appear in court for violating the Medicines and Related Substances Act after selling unregistered steroids online. The Limpopo Organised Crime Investigation Unit confiscated Schedule 4 and Schedule 5 drugs from his residence.
A 33-year-old man is scheduled to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court today, charged with violating the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965. The Limpopo Organised Crime Investigation Unit apprehended the suspect on Friday morning following a tip-off about steroid sales in the Bendor area. The arrest led to the discovery of various unregistered tablets, syringes, and liquid substances at the suspect's Blue Heaven Estate residence.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, estimates the value of the seized drugs to be around R300,000
