Breaking: Suspect arrested after woman killed in daytime attack in downtown Toronto
Police have arrested a suspect after an attack downtown left a woman dead Friday morning.
Toronto police said on Twitter they were called to Yonge Street and King Street area just before 11:45 a.m., after police got reports of a man assaulting a woman. Police said the woman had died and the suspect fled the scene. In a tweet at about 2:15 p.m., police said they arrested a suspect.
