Hlatshwayo joined SuperSport at the start of the 2022/23 campaign after a difficult two-year spell at boyhood club Orlando Pirates.'Tyson' as the former Bafana Bafana captain is largely known enjoyed a renaissance after signing a one-year contract with Matsatsantsa in July 2022 with the option of an additional year.
The 33-year-old was named SuperSort's Player of the Season during the club's end of year awards on Monday. "Tyson initially signed a one-year contract. The club are now in discussions with his representatives with a view to extending it," a club insisder tellsGavin Hunt's side are set to participate in the CAF Confederation Cup next season after finishing in third position in the standings.
