Supermarket launching own brand Pumpkin Spice Latte that’s cheaper than Starbucks - and it’s not Aldi or Lidl
September and October is well and truly Pumpkin season, with many rushing to their nearest coffee shop to pick up a ‘PSL’, otherwise known as a Pumpkin Spice Latte. However, with the current cost of living crisis, many may have to forego their luxury coffee on the way to work - but one supermarket has come up with a solution.
Created to rival a high-street favourite, Asda customers will be able to recreate their favourite coffee at home without needing to queue at the coffee shop.Available in stores and online from October 13, shoppers can purchase a 126g tub of the flavoured instant coffee powder for just £2.50. This will make around seven drinks for less than the price of one from the leading coffee chains in the UK. In fact, shoppers could make 10 Asda PSLs for the price of one small from Starbucks.
