There are 24 special Badges in Super Mario Bros. Wonder that can affect the gameplay mechanics during a level, here are the ten most fun.

Wonder doesn't just bring in new power-ups that make Mario and friends become elephants, but also has a new gameplay mechanic called badges that plays a major role in the game. Badges are equippable items that can be found scattered around Super Mario Bros. Wonder or are obtained through completing certain achievements.
9 All Drill Power Badge Super Mario Bros. Wonder has a few badges that transform every power-up in a level into the same one, such as providing only Bubble powers or only Elephant powers. The best of these is the All Drill Power badge, allowing the player characters to run through a level continuously equipped with a drill on their head. This is perfect in certain situations where there are lots of flying enemies or breakable rocks.
6 Spring Feet Badge Speaking of jumping, Super Mario Bros. Wonder will allow fans of hopping to have all the jumping they can handle with the Spring Feet badge. With Spring Feet equipped, the characters don't run or walk anywhere but are constantly bouncing their way through the level. It's a silly gimmick, that brings a bit of levity to the game, and also is quite handy in certain situations by giving chances to hop high and low to leap across chasms and over the heads of enemies.
Thankfully, there are ways to make the character kick up some dust or note when a coin or item is picked up to know that the character is there, but otherwise, it becomes a bit of a laughable guessing game. This is especially true in multiplayer games when a dust cloud could be from any of the players.
