The valleys and Inland Empire Wednesday will be cooler than previous days as a high of 92 is on tap. The region will be in the high 80s Thursday, and temperatures will gradually decrease through the end of the week.Mountain communities will be sunny amid a high of 80 degrees on Wednesday. Temperatures will fall to 53 degrees at night.
Deserts on Wednesday will still be hot, with an afternoon high of 98 on tap. Some slight relief from the heat is expected Thursday when temperatures drop to the low 90s.
