Mamelodi Sundowns’ spending spree appears certain to continue with the champions in waiting to have already cast their eyes on one of their targets for the next transfer window.
In the last transfer window, they brought in Teboho Mokoena, Erwin Saavedra, and Surprise Ralani while Abubeker Nasir Ahmed was signed and then loaned back to Ethiopian Coffee. The 26-year-old central defender has proven his functionality in being able to do a job at the back and still be able to add numbers going forward as proven by the three goals that he has scored this season.
At present Sundowns have Brian Onyango, Rushine de Reuck, Mosa Lebusa, and Grant Kekana as their centre-back options though the latter also plays at right-back.
