Sundowns striker wanted in Europe
Mameloi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro has fresh European interest as he nears the end of his loan at SuperSport United.Mamelodi Sundowns will again have another huge decision to make over the future of their Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro at the end of the season following fresh European interest.The 22-year-old also spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Chippa United, where he scored 11 goals in all competitions.
Thiago – who has scored 26 goals this season – has been sold to English club Brentford, which leaves Club Brugge with a need to find a replacement.Club Brugge have recently had David Okereke and Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis – who also come from the same Nigerian academy as Ighodaro. Daniel Amokachi was also a success at Club Brugge during his playing days, while they currently have Raphael Onyedika, which is why they are keen to take the Nigerian route again.
