Hydro One continues work to restore power to customers who have been without lights since Sunday’s storm. Officials say there were 40 broken poles across the province with half of them in the Marmora, Madoc and Tweed areas where it’s been confirmed at least oneHydro One says crews have restored power to more than 40,000 customers and continue to work around the clock.shows a few customers still out in the Marmora to Tweed area with an estimated restoration of late Tuesday afternoon.
“Our hearts go out to our customers who have sustained damage as well as those who remain without power,” said Jeff Bracken, Distribution Lines Superintendent for Eastern Ontario. “Our hard working crews continue to work diligently and will not stop until every customer’s power has been restored.”
