Greater Sudbury Police Service members charged a 61-year-old local man with three counts of sexual assault and uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death following incidents last year, and police believe there may be other victims
Greater Sudbury police have charged a 61-year-old local man with three counts of sexual assault and one charge of uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death.
They reported that he was in a position of power and authority when the attacks took place, between January and September of 2022. The suspect was arrested and charged on Dec. 19, 2022, according to the release, and was later released on an undertaking with a court date of March 1 to answer to the charges.
Those who have experienced a sexual assault have various options for reporting them to police when they are ready to do so.
