Succession served up its most earth-shattering moment yet during Monday night's episode, titled 'Connor's Wedding'.
After three and a half seasons, Waystar Royco's knife-tongued mogul Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox, died on a business flight and left his kids – Shiv, Roman, Kendall and Connor – crushed despite their grievances. In the final scene, Kendall watched on as Logan's body was carried off the fateful airplane, but director Mark Mylod told Variety that a much longer, unseen version of the character's heartbreak out there.
Mark, who also directed last year's sublimely messed-up The Menu, went on to reveal that Jeremy shot several iterations of this scene so that the producers could determine just how emotional he should come across in the finished product. As is tradition after episodes of Succession, fans rushed to social media to discuss the episode and Twitter was rammed with responses to Logan's death.
