The latest Nottingham Forest news on Monday October 16, 2023
Chris Wood has vowed to “keep working hard” to try to force his way into Nottingham Forest’s starting XI.
"From a personal perspective, I'd love to be getting more minutes but I'll just keep working hard to get myself back in that team,” he said. "T has had the shirt recently and deservedly so because he's playing really well, so I'll keep trying to push him hard in training and help him raise his level even higher.
The Reds have a proud history of developing young talent. An impressive list of players have progressed through the ranks and into the first-team down the years - not least Joe Worrall and Ryan Yates, who are captain and vice-captain respectively for Steve Cooper ’s side. The 19-year-old, who is currently on loan with League One side Wycombe Wanderers, earned his first start for the Northern Ireland senior team on Saturday as they took on San Marino. Michael O'Neil’s side came out as 3-0 winners, but Taylor wasn’t one of those on the scoresheet.
