Researchers in Finland found in set of two studies that people with 'woke' ideas often had a higher risk of depression and anxiety.

The researchers asked more than 5,800 college students and professors about general statements widely believed to be woke, further inquiring whether they agreed with the statements.

Oskari Lahtinen, a lead study author and senior researcher at the INVEST Research Flagship Centre at the University of Turku in“I had been paying attention to a development in American universities, where a new discourse on social justice became prevalent in the 2010s,” he said. He added, “The gender divide was probably most surprising to me.
