The Foo Fighters crank up the gore to 11 in the red band trailer for their horror movie, Studio 666. Watch it now:
A new red-band trailer for the Foo Fighters’ upcoming horror film, Studio 666, promises fans blood and gore aplenty. Based on a story from the band's front man and music legend Dave Grohl, the horror-comedy was reportedly filmed in secret by Jack Reacher and Top Gun: Maverick camera operator B. J. McDonnell based on a script penned by Pet Semetary’s Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes.
With the film set to hit theaters later this week, the band has released an ultra-violent, and blood stained trailer promising all kinds of rock ‘n roll mayhem on the official Foo Fighters YouTube channel. Complete with chainsaws, woodchippers, decapitations and a demonically possessed and projectile vomiting Grohl, the band promises the new trailer will “f--- you up”.
Over the years Grohl’s unique sense of humor has often made its way into his band’s various film clips, including his memorable costumed outings in"Learn to Fly" and"Long Road to Ruin." This latest project, and it’s over the top horror sensibilities, seems like the next natural progression for the band that he has previously described as the only ones “stupid enough to do something like this.
