Striking femininity meets unyielding strength in Phillipah Rumano's Women of Stone art exhibition
Phillipah Rumano , a Zimbabwean native, an International Award-winning/published sculptor by DNA, and a fashion designer, welcomes us into her avant-garde world that celebrates identity, self-expression, the resilience of humans and a sense of natural being using delicate bodily gestures that exude 'femininity' and contrasting facial features. This work of art uses body, feminine bodies to be specific, and juxtaposed facial features to reclaim and redress space as a woman.
