One Strictly Come Dancing professional has broken ranks to publicly show their support for Giovanni Pernice amidst a current BBC investigation into his conduct with past celebrity partners on the show. The investigation began after Amanda Abbington , who was paired with Giovanni in 2023, shared that she had developed PTSD from his training.
This isn't the first time Lauren has shown support for Giovanni. Just a few weeks ago she shared some photos of their recent dance tour, which she captioned: "One more Always a pleasure @giovannipernice." She also expressed how the dispute has severely affected her life, as she continued: "You don't understand how awful this all is. Giovanni's fans have started trolling me now. I have had to come off social media and I'm getting death threats."
