Police are investigating an alleged death threat sent to former Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington.
The Metropolitan Police issued a statement to the PA news agency: "Police were called at around 4pm on Friday August 2 by a staff member at a theatre in Finsbury Park following receipt of an alleged malicious communication. There have been no arrests, inquiries are ongoing."After leaving the BBC One show, Abbington lodged a formal complaint about Pernice's teaching methods, citing "medical" and "personal" reasons at the time.
Speaking about the BBC's ongoing investigation, Amanda said: "I know a lot of people went in to speak to them. I'm the official complainer. I think there's about five or six from what I can gather, but there's three main people, who've made complaints, mine's the official one."
