Strictly Come Dancing fans were left feeling frustrated on Saturday night after a schedule shakeup to accommodate the FIFA World Cup meant the show's semi-final was postponed
Hundreds of Strictly Come Dancing fans were left fuming on Saturday night, after the usual weekly dose of ballroom glitz and glamour was postponed by one day thanks to a schedule shake up.
Instead it was announced that Strictly’s live semi final show would now air on Sunday December 11th instead, with the results following just one day later on Monday December 12th. They also added: "The football was on itv so I don’t see why #strictly couldn’t have still been played on bbc?!” There was also a further wave of annoyance after England failed to beat France in the match, with many Strictly fans online quick to rub salt into wounds.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom however, with one fan even making light of the situation as they cheekily wrote: “Football week on #Strictly is hopeless. They keep falling over. The costumes lack sequins and someone’s put Craig in charge of the VAR”
