A large crowd for a 'street takeover' did more than just disrupt traffic Saturday night in Seattle.

Seattle police said officers responded to the area on May 11 for a report of a “take over” event with around 150 vehicles and 500 people “in or around the intersection.” Police said one vehicle “revved its motor and did donuts around a patrol vehicle.
According to the Seattle Police Department , officers responded to the event around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Western and Elliott avenues. A department spokesperson told KOMO News around 150 cars and 500 people were “in and around the intersection.” One person in the crowd kicked a SPD car, damaging it, police said, adding that the person then “ran back into the crowd” and disappeared.
While officers were at the scene attempting to disperse the event and mitigate traffic hazards, police said the driver of one of the vehicles did donuts around the SPD patrol vehicle. One video on social media shows a silver, four-door sedan circling a police officer sitting in his cruiser, while other people screamed and hollered, many also holding their phones up recording video.Police said no arrests have been made.
