K-pop group Stray Kids paid homage to boy bands like NSYNC during the 2024 American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special on Sunday in Los Angeles.
Onstage, Stray Kids wore matching ensembles consisting of embroidered varsity jackets, leather trousers and combat boots. In one segment of their performance, they evoked the cover of NSYNC’s 2000 album, “No Strings Attached,” which features the band members on puppet strings.Among his first commitments in the role, Hyunjin — who boasts a combined social media following of over 72 million — fronted Versace’s Holiday 2023 campaign, composed of images and videos.
“I am delighted Hyunjin is joining the Versace family. I am constantly inspired by new voices defining culture around the world and for me Hyunjin has great new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. He is a true Versace man,” said Donatella Versace, the brand’s chief creative officer.
In lieu of a ceremony this year, the American Music Awards celebrates its 50th anniversary with a televised special airing on CBS and Paramount+.
