many teasers, which counted down to the actual trailer – which was finally released on April 12.
Let's start off with the first, shall we? Back in February 2020, a teaser showed part of the series taking place in a Russian prison camp. The 50-second trailer, dramatically named ‘From Russia with Love’ reunited us with Hopper who is seen building a railway amongst other prisoners, his head shaved and staring off into the distance.Then came another teaser in May 2020 which took us to the sinister laboratory where Dr.
There are some pretty creepy things going on in the clip: a ticking clock, spooky child laughter; toy bricks, a Magic Eight Ball saying "signs point to yes"; someone playing chess and everything is lit in a spooky green tone.Another sneak peek landed on 6 August 2021, and while it's only a short teaser, there are some pretty cool things to get excited about, namely: the gang creeping around with torches, Hopper holding a damn flame thrower, and Eleven's new haircut.
Eleven is seen wearing her tied back with a blunt fringe, which viewers have likened to Joyce Byers's hair in the show's last season, leading to some pretty wild fan theories.Another fan went a step further: "this could be eleven in like a timetravel/flashback thing of something that happened to joyce in the past? she looks exactly like her so it could be a bit like what happened with deena and sarahs ‘story’".
