Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1 lived up to its name by introducing nine new worlds throughout its ten episodes. Following the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike , Lieutenant Spock , and the crew of the USS Enterprise, Strange New Worlds exemplifies the Star Trek philosophy of seeking out new life and new civilizations. Almost every episode of the first season brought Pike and his crew to a new world, making the universe of Star Trek feel that much bigger.

Number One had been attempting to make first contact with the inhabitants of the planet, believing them to have discovered warp technology.
7 M'hanit First believed to be nothing more than an ordinary comet, M'hanit contained an extensive structure beneath its surface. The Enterprise first investigated the comet as it was on a collision course with Persephone III, and Pike and his crew needed to find a way to prevent that collision. After discovering the alien structure inside the comet, an away team with Cadet Nyota Uhura was sent to investigate.
5 Finibus III In the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode "Memento Mori," the Enterprise visits Finibus III to deliver an atmospheric processor to the small Federation colony on the planet. When Captain Pike and his crew arrive, they discover that the colonists are no longer on the planet. The Enterprise soon comes across a cargo ship that contains several survivors from the planet.
